01/07/2023 Pinch Punch it's the First of the Month! From Barrow Wake we walk through to Coberley  then along Hartley Bottom to Leckhampton Hill returning through Ullen Woods and over Shab Hill. We will pass the large machinery depo for the Air Balloon bypass and the old WW11 Radio Station on Shab Hill before our return to Barrow Wake carpark. Easy walking along fields  country tracks and lanes. 08/07/2023 Along the Windrush and Wardens Way Past the site of the medieval village of Hawling and along the Windrush Way towards Guiting Power. We will join the Wardens Way to climb up through Guiting Woods passing through the Farncote Estate before re-joining the Windrush Way for our return to Hawling. A mix of woodland walking  open country vistas on farm tracks and country lanes. Only 3 stiles. Coffee and lunch stop  bring a picnic. NB 9:30 START. Bistro ( formerly Jennie’s Kitchen ) we will walk to Ashton Keynes  around Cleveland Lakes  head up towards Cerney Wick and then follow a tarmac path back to the start point. J.K. Bistro was known as Jennie’s kitchen and only the name has changed. Excellent home made food. We may have to submit numbers at the start of the walk.
