All walk leaders should have received a personalised email informing them of the need to “prove their competence as a walks leader” either by doing online training or completing a personalised form if they have led 12 walks between 2023 and the end of 2025 and have read their Ramblers handbook by the end of this year. THIS HAS NOW BEEN EXTENDED TO END OF JANUARY 2026.  This then allows you to lead for the next 3 years. Please note that the 3 years starts from the time you either do the training or submit the form. You may wish to leave doing this until as late as possible!!! Just don’t lose the email!!
