Maisemore - Saturday 4 October 2025 Previous Next All We’re in the car park of the immaculate village hall at Maisemore where a celebration of their promised Little Library is about to take place It’s very gusty in the aftermath of Storm Amy but clear views everywhere on Loren’s walk We head across very well maintained fields Then come into a field of young peaceful calves Who are fascinated by us climbing over a stile Through the grounds of a house with possibly the best views in Gloucestershire to a road where we can see the Malverns in the distance A Christmas tree plantation Through old orchards Yellow fungi Heading towards Ashleworth Tithe barn and church With a May Hill look-alike An interesting “stile” to get to the church Which has some strange plaster patterns Then back past Maisemore Court (which is available for weddings!)
