It’s a beautiful day in Luckington for Sally and Ros’ walk. The group move out of the way of the delivery van.
We head down to Luckington church, famous for being used in the film of Pride and Prejudice and also for the grave of General Sir Stewart Menzies, chief of MI6, during and after the Second World War
Another example of the many berries around, on this yew tree in the churchyard
We pass the Luckington Stream and head up the road
In the direction of Sherston
Where Loren takes 2 group photos
On the bridge near the old Knicker Elastic Factory (long closed)
After coffee in the sun at the top of the slope, we’re on the flat across fields
Until we meet the road (and a puddle) and we’re almost back to Luckington and the Old Royal Ship where we had an excellent lunch
