We’re in the Crown at Cerney Wick for Janet’s walk
The sun is burning off the morning mist
We get to the Wilts and Berks Canal
Where there is no water anywhere along its length
Some canal trust volunteers are working there and give us an explanation of what they are doing
We get to a farm with some very small ponies
Over a foot bridge
Where there is some water (the Thames perhaps)
Then we’re on the very straight Old Railway Line
Where there is some work going on
