	Our walk starts with a walk over the IOW Festival site on Arreton Down
	Eventually reaching the IOW steam railway
	Where we cross the track
	Still plenty of water about from yesterday's rain
	We head through some woods
	Following a wide track
	Eventually reaching Havenstreet Station
	A pub in Havenstreet for lunch
	After lunch our walk continues with views across the Solent to the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth
	Then past the Havenstreet War Memorial on a breezy ridge
	Cows IOW
	Round the edge of a secluded pond, the former fishery for the monks
	To the ruins of the old Cistercian Abbey
	Sheep IOW
	Horses IOW
	Followed by the more modern Quarr Abbey
	A look inside
	A quick slurp
	Before following the path along the coast
To Ryde with its pier and the end of the walk
