		Setting off from High Newton .
		We are looking forward .
		To seeing the terns .
		We head down to .
		The beach .
		We have it to ourselves .
		Weather looking good .
		A warden directs us off the beach .
		It belongs to the nesting birds at the moment .
		The wardens guard the place day and night in the nesting season .
		Lots of sightings .
		One good tern deserves another .
		A heavy shower and high winds dampen our spirits .
		Back on the beach .
		We head for Beadnell Bay with another limekiln .
		Ideal for a sheltered coffee stop .
		How many have we now seen? .
		A 1930's house is very striking .
		Sun out again, we are off .
		Enjoying crossing streams .
		And rocks .
		And a golf course with cowslips on the edge .
		High rise accommodation .
		A boat off to the Farne Islands .
		We reach Seahouses .
		Where we vote on stopping for .
		Fish and chips .
		Refreshed, we set off .
Past a group of eider ducks .
On to the beach once more .
Slow, ducks crossing .
All clear .
Lots more eider ducks .
Broken shell patterns in the sand .
A gentle sea .
Gosh, it's getting warmer .
Patterns in the eroded rocks .
Amongst the rock pools .
Warm enough for some to paddle .
Drying the feet is a slight problem .
Bamburgh Castle .
Looms over us .
Another brilliant walk to complete our holiday .
