year we organise long walking weekends away for members of the Group. We
enjoy staying in a comfortable Guest House or Hotel with en suite
facilities and good food and drink.

Day 1 - Lynton half day walk to the Valley of the Rocks and Lee Bay
Day 2 - Walk over Exmoor
from Simonsbath along River Barle
Day 3 - From Lee Bay to
Heddon's Mouth and Hunters Inn
Day 4 - Down to Lynmouth
via Cliff Railway (or not!) and then upand down to Watersmeet,
returning via Countisbury Hill and the coast path |

Day 1 - From the lakeside, through Great Tower
Plantation to Moor How
Day
2 - A wet day across and then alongside lake Windermere to Wray Castle
then cross country to Hawkshead
Day 3 - Wet again
as we climb Orrest Head, then pop down into Troutbeck. After lunch
it's the ascent of Wansfell and tea rooms in Ambleside. Also photos of
our last evening
Day 4 - A look
round the hotel grounds in the early morning sun, before the rain sets
in yet again for our final walk near Kendal |
