		A full English breakfast inside us we head off along Windermere with our Ramblers Holidays Leader Peter .
		It is not a good day .
		But we soon arrive at the ferry .
		And cross to the other side of the lake .
		Bus waiting at the ferry terminal but we don't get on until the end of the walk in Hawkeshead .
		We head northwards along the western side of Windermere .
		Spotting this sign we quickly hide our fishing lines and guns .
		And walk briskly on in the steady rain .
		Quite a few shades of green here .
		As we enter woodland .
		Still raining .
		Improvised shelter - umberella hanging from a tree - as we stop for a drink .
		The lake stil looking gloomy .
		If I put my head in this hole the rain won't find me .
		Bluebells .
		Lakeside trees with a twisted sinister look .
		We have a catchup pause before we start climbing .
		To Wray Castle where we find shelter for lunch .
		Our afternoon starts with a view of Blelham Tarn .
		Mike contemplating a quick way back .
		As we walk through a remote farm before reaching Hawkshead .
		Where this street sign catches our eye .
		And we dive into the nearest tearoom out of the rain .
		Which is now affecting the photos although it does add atmosphere to this scene as we wait for our bus to take us back .

As you can see, as well as getting to know the South Cotswolds, we arrange the occasional walking holiday. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat.
