		We are on the way home stopping outside Betws-y-Coed at the Fairy Glen .
		What shall we see? .
		No sign of fairies that way .
		Finding fairies involves some pretty hard scrambling .
		They must be there somewhere .
		Perhaps if we all keep quiet .
		Still no sign .
		A couple of smiling gnomes? .
		We continue the search .
		Here's what we're looking for .
		We keep looking .
		But eventually have to give up .
		Heading uphill past another isolated farmhouse .
		We pass through very quiet countryside .
		To reach Capel Garmon .
		With its friendly natives .
		We head for the churchyard .
		What a setting! .
		We pause to chat .
		And to admire the view .
		Nice backdrop .
		An unusual memorial stone set in the wall - and quite a coincidence, he died exactly 70 years ago .
		We head off across fields .
		Past more locals - are they friendly? .
		To a neolithic burial site .
		Erected 2500-1000 BC .
		And here is a neolithic man to greet us .
		As he shows a group of neolithic tourists round his house .
		We stop for coffee on a grassy bank .
		With views across the wooded hills .
Then continue downhill .
Our last ladder stile before reaching the cars .

As you can see, as well as getting to know the South Cotswolds, we arrange the occasional walking holiday. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat.
