		Today all three groups travel west to the Black Mountain area and are dropped off at different points . .
		Heavy rain overnight means plenty of rushing waters and boggy places for the medium grade walkers to cross .. .
		Low cloud base too . .
		Imagine the sound of cascading water . .
		We head for the hill . .
		Just over this rise .. .
		And we suddenly come across Llyn y Fan Fawr . .
		With its unmistakeable peninsula jutting out . .
		Our route is now along the western edge under the mountain . .
		We start to climb steadily - and spot a red kite circling far below us - sadly no time for a photo . .
		We leave the lake behind . .
		The rock formations look rather like waves . .
		Hazy views now far into mid Wales . .
		And weak sunshine as we climb Fan Foel . .
An eerie light . .
Heading for the top . .
That's another hill conquered! . .
Good news, the refuge is available for at least some of us to escape the wind while we have our packed lunch . .
Rather cold up here. even though we are wrapped up . .
Wilderness . .
A glimpse down a steep gully to the lake far below - keep back! . .
	Diane our leader consults the group and we vote to use a lower route as it has turned decidedly cold . .
	A farmer and his dog are used to the weather . .
	Dramatic scenery . .
	Gradually gives way to more pastoral views . .
	Zooming in to nearby mountains . .
	Another series of waterfalls . .
	We find our way down to the road, where we are picked up for the return to Brecon, another full day out . .
