Tickertape Updating<\/h3>\n

This is entitled Latest News on the front page of the website.\u00a0It is useful for alerting everyone about\u00a0walk changes and other important messages as soon as they view\u00a0the website.<\/p>\n

  1. Login<\/li>\n
  2. Go to Dashboard<\/li>\n
  3. Select and click News Tickers – News Tickers (there is only one)<\/li>\n
  4. Point to News Ticker title and then click Edit<\/li>\n
  5. Scroll down to TICKER TYPE (should be white text on green background)<\/li>\n
  6. Scroll down to TICKS and below that TICKER TEXT<\/li>\n
  7. You will see present wording in this window, so select text to delete, or type in extra text<\/li>\n
  8. Always keep a reference to our future walks, eg \u00a0All walks as planned<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  9. For serious changes in walk plans, also post a more detailed Message and mark it in the\u00a0Current category.<\/li>\n
  10. Separate items with dashes —–<\/li>\n
  11. Top right of screen – click Update button<\/li>\n
  12. Go to view website – that’s it!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
