We are at Saul Junction
And we cross over the Gloucester - Sharpness canal

A lovely morning

Heading to Walk Bridge
We learn how the old canal now carries the river Frome
One lock gate was restored some years ago, but needs doing again when the canal is connected to Stroud
A level walk
The one level slope!
A tricky stile
We all wait
Until the last person is over
We follow a ploughed headland
Where are they disappearing to?
Massive sweetcorn plants
We emerge onto the canal bank
