Walk 17
Kingswood circular
This is a reasonably level walk amongst the fields and streams of the southern Gloucestershire countryside starting from the village of Kingswood with the English Heritage Abbey Gatehouse site. It passes an old creeper covered roundhouse and a most unusual and innovative new house, returning via the edge of Charfield village with panoramic views of Wotton-under-Edge and the Cotswold hills.

For a full day’s walking, combine this 5 mile walk with number 16.
