Walk 16
Wotton-under-Edge circular
This 5.5 mile walk is full of contrasts with views of Wotton-under-Edge from all directions.
The route goes through the historic town (well worth exploring at some stage), then follows
a meandering stream before a steep climb up Coombe Hill, with impressive views.

It continues through lovely Conygre Wood and reaches the landmark trees on Wotton Hill,
with its tremendous panorama.

Later the walk levels out, before climbing back to Wotton.

For a full day’s walking, combine this walk with number 17 to make 9.5 miles.
