Walk 13
Nailsworth and Horsley
From Nailsworth you will pass along a deep valley containing many fish ponds with occasional herons until the walk reaches peaceful Horsley village.

The return section on a higher route gives you wide views of Minchinhampton Common and Nailsworth.

This is a relatively short walk, about 3 miles, but packed full of interest. Allow plenty of time, for, as one of Nailsworth's most illustrious residents, W.H.Davies, wrote, "What is this life, if full of care, we have no time to stand and stare."

Afterwards you could mooch around Nailsworth’s individualistic shops. Or for a full day out it could be combined with Walk 14, starting at Kingscote or Nailsworth.
