Walk 4
Painswick and Sheepscombe
This 6 mile walk also starts in Painswick, sometimes called “The Queen of the Cotswolds”. It visits the small delightful village of Sheepscombe. There are several hills, but with the reward of fine views of the valley and the unmistakable spire of Painswick Church.

Above Sheepscombe an open area is home to pyramid orchids, in flower in the summer. The route goes through woods, a lovely garden, and descends to the Painswick Stream.

This is followed back to Painswick and the walk passes the Royal Oak pub and through the churchyard with its yew trees to the start point.

Start point Painswick see map and Area Map
Limited Parking at Butchers Arms, Sheepscombe only if patronising them see map
