.
Maurice looks round in disbelief at the assembled masses (37)
Our route takes us up the hill to the deer park
Where we see deer
Passing the folly
A brisk walk along the top of the hill
As we look down across the Severn, the nuclear power plant standing out in the sunshine
We eventually reach the stile taking us out of the deer park
And head downhill
A bit of path clearance on the way
Making the negotiation of the stile a bit easier
Anticipation of a cold winter has brought out some unusual headgear
A bridge across a stream
And we are soon approaching Stone church
Leaving Stone we cross a waterlogged field
With views back to the church
Now how many can you count on the walk?
A pause on a bridge
Then we scurry along the other side
Through a kissing gate
Over a cross country fence
Still following the river
Before reaching Ham village green and the pub

As you can see, we thoroughly enjoy getting to know the South Cotswolds. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat. If you are interested in coming with us,see our Led Walks Programme and ring the leader if you have any questions about a particular walk. After two or three walks we hope you will then want to join the group as part of the Ramblers.
