		The start of a longer faster walk - also quite hilly as we head off uphill .
		Levelling off briefly .
		Then meandering along the top of the hill .
		To Lypiatt Manor .
		Where all the usual stories are told, producing some laughter .
		We continue along the top of the hill .
		Before descending through some thick undergrowth, includung stinging nettles for the shorts wearers .
		Into the Toadsmoor Valley .
		Where we stop by the lake .
		Mum herding her brood away from us .e Woods
		We continue up the valley .
		Over a stream - this beats stepping stones .
		To Bisley where some photograph the wells .
		Others use the water to cool down .
		Leaving Bisley we cross fields .
		On a well marked path .
		To Battlescombe .
		Always a bit of water on this path .
		We assemble after lunch .
		Our route following a farm track .
		Then down into the valley .
		Past Pinbury Park .
		Into Sapperton .
		John demonstrates the use of the Irish blackthorn stick in crossing stiles .
Before we drop down into the valley over the railway and back to the start .

As you can see, we thoroughly enjoy getting to know the South Cotswolds. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat.
