.
Tim addresses his assembled throng by the roadside in Rodmarton
.
And we set off across the fields
.
Soon picking up a broad track
..
With woody hedgerows
.
A reminder of heavy overnight rain
.
Perhaps rain for quite a few nights
.
Things get a little drier underfoot as we enter a stubble field
.

Some of the crop left for game cover
.
Soon we are on another old track into Tarlton
.
Where we stop for coffee
.
Not many picnic benches here, what shall we sit on?
.
After which we head off towards some rather ominous storm clouds
.
Wonder why they need a gate that wide?
.
The waterproofs start to come out and the camera gets put away
.
Until we get back into Rodmarton
.
Passing the church on our way back to the cars
.

top As you can see, we thoroughly enjoy getting to know the South Cotswolds. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat. If you are interested in coming with us, see our Led Walks Programme and ring the leader if you have any questions about a particular walk. After two or three walks we hope you will then want to join the group as part of the Ramblers.
