| Well yes - but we press on determindly
towards Westonbirt .. |

| We head down a muddy track . |

| Before entering the Arboretum . |
||
| Where autumn colours still abound . |

| And mysterious fungi . |

| A signpost indicates the various paths . |

| As we press on . |

| Looking back down the wide avenue . |
||
| We pause for coffee under a willow
tree (alternative caption - wind in the willow?) . |

| Our walk continues with Mike doing a
commercial for walks leaders for the new programme . |

| Then it's over a stile . |

| And off over fields . |
||
| Choosing the easy route along a
waterlogged path . |

| Before taking to a farm track . |

| Bringing us back to Leighterton pond . |
||
| With its variety of wild
birds . |
||
| The village church peers out over the
rooftops . |
||
| As we reach the Royal Oak, soon to
provide our lunch . |

| As you can see, we thoroughly enjoy getting to know the South Cotswolds. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat.
