.
Having consumed gallons of coffee courtesy of the Landlord of the Carpenters Arms many of us have placed our lunch orders
.
And head out across the fields out of Miserden
.
A large but jovial group
.
Dropping down into Misarden Park
.
A pause at the bottom before we start a climb
.
Which takes us across the hill
.
With much earnest discussion
.
And idle chatter
.
To Caudle Green where we stop for coffee
.
There follows a steep slope down
.
And a steep slope up
.
Bringing us to Syde
.
Where we have views back across the valley to Caudle Green
.
Before we tackle another steep slope down
.
Quite difficult in places
.
And another one back up
.
Eventually bringing us back into Misarden Park
.
Where an easy stroll
.
Oh, and one short climb brings us back to the pub and lunch
.
Photos, captions and risky remarks from Richard
top As you can see, we thoroughly enjoy getting to know the South Cotswolds. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat. If you are interested in coming with us, see our Led Walks Programme and ring the leader if you have any questions about a particular walk. After two or three walks we hope you will then want to join the group as part of the Ramblers.
