southcotswoldramblers.org.uk Around Malmesbury Saturday 21 March 2009 The day dawned with a slight frost but soon cleared to provide a lovely sunny day for the walk. The walk could almost be called the "Walk of Bridges".

		We gather in the car park of the Rose & Crown in Lea for an introduction by Jaqui .
		We cross our first bridge .
		Then over the first of many stiles .
		And then up a hill (well alright a slope then) .
		We enter Malmesbury .
		We get a view of Malmesbury on the hill .

		We continue alongside the water .
		After crossing a road we cross Bridge No.3 .
		Here it is Bridge No.3 .
		We approach the hill up to Malmesbury Abbey .
