.
Some of us head out of Wotton-under-Edge while others head back to move their cars out of the short stay CP
.
Re-united we head across the fields
.
Negotiating a friendly kissing gate
.
Till we come to a garden with many strange architectural features to be inspected
.
Together with a pond
.
An archway
.
And on the way out some stone stags
.
We continue towards the Ozleworth Valley
.
Pausing to look at a new house
.
Then walking up the valley
.
Pausing for coffee and to give leader, Brian, a chance to check on his Northings and Eastings
.
We continue to the top of the hill
.
Before descending to the Millennium Green at Tresham
.
Now walking down a valley
.
And over a stream
.
Before following a road
.
And a muck spreader - duck ladies
.
To the pub at Hillesley for lunch
.
Our afternoon starts along a track with Rose Hill School Alderley in the distance
.
We cross a stream
.
Then past a couple of busy parents
.
The seagulls have come inland for food
.
Before making our way back across the fields to Wotton-under-Edge
.

top As you can see, we thoroughly enjoy getting to know the South Cotswolds. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat. If you are interested in coming with us, see our Led Walks Programme and ring the leader if you have any questions about a particular walk. After two or three walks we hope you will then want to join the group as part of the Ramblers.
