		Down Tinkers Hill towards Staverton airfield, the Lower Malverns in the distance . .

		We escape to a golf course . .
		Following a brook on the right and an interesting selection of trees . .

After another hour or two of very level walking we cross the A38 Tewkesbury Road at Longford . .
And follow the path by the Severn past the Jolly Waterman - sadly now private . .

	The other side of the river to the city . .
	No comment (I daren't) except to say thank you Bernard for a fascinating walk - and we got back in the light! . .

	As you can see, we thoroughly enjoy getting to know the South Cotswolds. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat. If you are interested in coming with us, see our walks programme and ring the leader if you have any questions about a particular walk.
