Thu 2 October 2008

.
Anne meets us at the Majors Retreat pub and we are soon crossing the first of a number of very old and a bit tricky stiles
.

One of a number of Victorian walled gardens on the route

Large ornamental grass we passed

Looking out on the Capability Brown designed landscape of Dodington Park
.
.
Autumn colours beginning to show - does Mike need to see the dentist - or is he on the phone?
(A. Neither, although what I am doing is beyond me!)

Near the end of Anne's walk on the Cotswold Way

top As you can see, we thoroughly enjoy getting to know the South Cotswolds. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat. If you are interested in coming with us, see our walks programme and ring the leader if you have any questions about a particular walk. After two or three walks we hope you will then want to join the group as part of the national Ramblers' Association.
