		It's eyes right as John spots another walker coming into the car park of the Falcon in Painswick . .
		We head out into the High Street where Allen is in danger of getting picked up with the rubbish . .
		Opposite us is the church with its famous yew trees . .
		As we wait for another straggler to join us .. .
		As we leave the town the undergrowth gets quite dense . .

		The view across the valley - look out for Indians . .
		Our path takes us down a stream . .

		Our route now takes us along a country lane . .
		Then a wooded path into Edge . .
Bringing us to the other side of the hill with views across the Severn . .
We continue along Edge Common . .
Picking up the Cotswold Way . .
Waiting for everyone to negotiate a stile . .
	Then disturbing the inhabitants of Watership Down . .

	As you can see, we thoroughly enjoy getting to know the South Cotswolds. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat. If you are interested in coming with us, see our walks programme and ring the leader if you have any questions about a particular walk. After two or three walks we hope you will then want to join the group as part of the national Ramblers' Association.
