		We set off in tropical temperatures through Ilmington village . .
		Allen passes the street named in his honour . .
		And there follows a steady climb . .
		Karen, our leader, pauses for the elderly (including photographer) to catch up .. .
		Then we pass Foxcote Manor . .
		Before heading downhill . ..
		Into Hidcote Boyce . .
		With its modern sculpture - something to do with the millennium perhaps . .
		Then a bridge across a small stream . .
		Followed by bluebell woods . .
		Some creatures get to rest in the heat of the day . .
		But not ramblers - we press on . .
		Pausing for lunch at Mickleton - no chance of a visit to the pudding club . .
Before pressing on - what an interesting rucksack! . .
We start to climb once again on this hilly walk . .
Rolling countryside and Mickleton church behind us . .
Towards Hidcote and a rest at the top . .
	While strays catch up . .
	Take a photo of that I was told - its an arum lily . .
	We make our way through the grounds of Hidcote . .

	Before reaching Ilmington Church . .

	As you can see, we thoroughly enjoy getting to know the South Cotswolds. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat. If you are interested in coming with us, see our walks programme and ring the leader if you have any questions about a particular walk. After two or three walks we hope you will then want to join the group as part of the national Ramblers' Association.
