		We meet at Speculation Picnic Site deep in the Forest of Dean where Mike introduces the next stage of the Wysis Way walk . .
		Then it's off through the forest . .
		Passing one of the two (or three) working mines . .
		As we climb up Wimberry Slade deep in thought . .
		Pausing at the top to encourage Allen to straighten his walking stick . .
		Logs are provided for seats at the coffee break . .
		Before we head through Christchurch . .
		Past a camp site - watch out for pirates . .
		We re-join the Wysis Way where we left it last time in Highmeadow Woods. Mike prepares another group photo . .
		He sprints athletically into position (photo Allen). .
		Forgetting about the grass - still, it's a good growing season at last (photo Mike) .
		Compare the above with our first walk in March (brrr) . .
		At lunch the sunshine and exertion up a steep hill produces the first sight of Mike's legs of the summer . .
		And Heather is caught limbering up at the restart . .
A pause to look at the view . .
Across to the distant Brecons . .
Then downhill . .
Over a slightly delapidated stile . .
	With a small settlement of Joy's Green across the valley . .
	Single file across a ploughed field . .
	Is that a look of pain on Wendy's face or is she pleased to have got over the stile? . .
	Jim takes an impromptu drink stop . .
	Before discussing our route with Mike . .
	We take a quick catch up stop . .
	Before meandering back through the woods to the cars. .

	We now look forward to Stage 3 in July, when we invite you all to join us for another circular walk, this time from Plump Hill, just outside Mitcheldean and up May Hill.

	As you can see, we thoroughly enjoy getting to know the South Cotswolds and beyond. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat.
