| Bernard
addresses the walkers as we meet in the car park near Prinknash Abbey . |

| Then
we head up Coopers Hill and as usual stand on the top and look . |
|||
| Straight
down . |
|||
| We
go down the hill and pass the Cotswold Way tea shop . |
|||
| Stopping
for coffee in the Roman Villa - spread out in the kitchen, dining room
and bedrooms . |
|||
| And
reading up on its history before we go . |
|||
| In
Cranham we gather round the silver birch, the village pound in the
background . |
|||
| Before
heading off across the common . |
|||
| Eventually
heading down into the Painswick Valley with views across to the other
side . |
|||
| Reaching
the bottom . |
|||
| We
stop for lunch . |
|||
| Then
we climb up the other side . |
|||
| Some
heading up over the Beacon . |
|||
| Others
taking the easy route . |
|||
| Now
did we see this rabbit anywhere? . |

| As you can see, we thoroughly enjoy getting to know the South Cotswolds. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat. If you are interested in coming with us, see our walks programme and ring the leader if you have any questions about a particular walk. After two or three walks we hope you will then want to join the group as part of the national Ramblers' Association. | |||
