As it turned out the weather was not too bad - a bit windy on the top to start with but not too much rain and once we got down into the valleys it was quite sheltered. As you will see from the pictures the going was quite soggy at times but I didn't need my water wings, writes Richard ..
		We head down into the valley glad to get out of the wind .
		Past a cosy looking holiday cottage .
		And along a track in the valley bottom .

		Now across the top and looking down Toadsmoor .
		Those lakes weren't there last time we came by - Eastcombe in the background .

		Then we walk up through Toadsmoor .
		More heavily swollen streams .
		This tree has got its own water supply .
		The only way through the gate is up the stream .

		Nice to take a picture of the Wells without a crowd of ramblers around them .

		This is what we have been waiting for .
		As you can see, we thoroughly enjoy getting to know the South Cotswolds. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat.
