		Our leader Jacky tells us about the mud to be expected-- she is OK wearing wellies .
		Leaving the Sports and Social Club we head down into France Lynch .
		Then it's down through the woods .
		And along the canal .
		We cross the A419 by an unusual flower shop - Richard's Dad worked there when it was a Co-op .
		Before rejoining the canal .
		That looks like a nasty one .
		Noah's Ark might be useful today .
		The most photographed house on the canal .
		Sorry if you have seen this one before .
		Coffee stop - shelter essential .
		Another old mill - soon to be a block of luxury flats .
		The River Frome - showing signs of the recent heavy rain .
		Then we walk through Brimscombe Port .
		Plenty of water in the river .

		A puzzled Jacky scratches her head .
		We almost had some sunshine at this point .
		Meanwhile Mr Heron waits for his dinner .
		And we continue on the canal to Bowbridge .
		The red dogwood brightening up the scene .
		Before heading up the other side of the valley .
		And stopping for lunch .
		Then it's on up the hill .
		Looking down the valley towards Doverow Tump .
		Then down through Mackhouse Wood where Joe shows us how to fall gracefully .
		And into Toadsmoor .
		With its lake .
		Pretty stream .
	And a log to sit on for tea break .
	Not sure what they are laughing at - at least it has stopped raining .
	But very muddy in the woods .
	Water .
	More water .
	And there is always a gentleman on hand to help the elderly and infirm across the stream .
	We stretch out up the hill .
	Looking back at a herd of highland ponies .
	I'm the king of the castle .
	A pause to discuss which way we go next .
	Before we head across the fields towards France Lynch .
	Waiting for the others to catch up .
	Seems they met someone they knew - and Joe fell over again .
	The last water jump before home - the end of another exhilarating walk .

		As you can see, we thoroughly enjoy getting to know the South Cotswolds. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat.
