Weather was a bit mixed which forced some of the group into a pub at lunchtime but we also had some good sunshine which brought out the Autumn colours. .
		After observing a minute's silence of remembrance, our leader, Jackie, leads us from the King and Castle to the canal .
		And we are soon passing a house with some rather interesting window ornaments .
		Then the famous roundhouse at Chalford .
		And then a reminder of remembrance Sunday as churchgoers line up for the usual parade .
		We continue along the canal .
		To Baker's Mill .
		Where we look across the lake .
		And spot this fellow in the garden .
		Two grumpy old men plod up the hill .
		As we head towards Iles Green .
		Where we stop for coffee .
		Then head off along narrow lanes in the late morning sun .
		Towards Bisley as the sky slowly darkens .
		Giving the famous spire a dramatic backdrop .
		After lunch we head down the Toadsmoor Valley .
		Where the sun, now reappeared, makes the most of the Autumn colours .
		Crossing the valley and looking back .
		Then we spot the lake through the trees .
		A chance for the photographer to do a self-portrait - although I thought I had more hair! .
		Then along the other side of the valley and back to the cars .
		Message received 14 November 2006 - Nature's Bountiful Display I must say i really enjoyed ramble last week chaps, it was a thrilling event, the walk re-kindled my love of natures bountiful display of flora and fuana. Look foward to seeing u soon. Alex Cottis

		As you can see, we thoroughly enjoy getting to know the South Cotswolds. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat.
