Eastcombe and Lypiatt -

24 January 2006

Patrick and Angela led a vigorous walk of over 6 miles on a nippy winter's morning and were pleased to see about 25 walkers.

We gather on the green at Eastcombe
We set off down the valley
Crossing the stream at the bottom - note the poise and balance
Toadsmoor Lake
Isolated cottage
Up the other side
Stop for discussion
Stepping out along the top
View looking over Stroud
View of cameraman
Admiring aforementioned view
Woolly RAMbler
Strung out down the valley
Coffee at the cemetery
Chapel up above
Do you like our coats?
What about ours!
If I scratch my head I can tell you all about this permissive path
Yes we found a ploughed field
No future in this for ...
Motorcyclists!
But we continue down into the Toadsmoor Valley and up the other side once again

top As you can see, we thoroughly enjoy getting to know the South Cotswolds. We try to keep fit and succeed in having a good old chat. If you are interested in coming with us, see our walks programme and ring the leader if you have any questions about a particular walk. After two or three walks we hope you will then want to join the group as part of the national Ramblers' Association.
