Westonbirt and Sherston
- 15 May 2005
On an unforecasted really warm day in our late Spring, Brian led the group on a day walk into peaceful Wiltshire.
Off we go down the drive of Westonbirt School.
This is the life!
An interesting background, not to mention the foreground.
Off we go again.
Posing by the River Avon a little way after Easton Grey.
More posers appear!
We walk along the Avon valley and it really is very ...
... pleasant and peaceful.
After a good lunch in Sherston, we start back up the Macmillan Way, but soon turn off through the hamlet of Willersley ...
... where we are pleased to rest awhile in the buttercup field.
Hot work today.
Olivia keeps cool.
Last lap now - we pass Westonbirt village with the Arborteum on the skyline.
