'Painswick and Sheepscombe - 1 February 2005
Brian leads us on a 5 - 6 mile mid week walk. Photos by Mike and John.
Off we head towards Sheepscombe.
Looking back we see the Queen of the Cotswolds - Painswick - set upon the hill.
We now go down past many molehills and then climb steeply up ...
... and here we are recovering after the steep ascent! Where are the bananas?
Bananarama!
Some wonderful wild flowers including an early daffodil.
Close-up of Snowdrops and winter aconites(Galanthus nivalis and Eranthis hyemalis).
A typical Cotswold winter woodland scene.
Painswick is in sight.
Moss covered log along the way.
Walking through Painswick near the end of the walk.
