Coaley Peak -
30 October 2004
(Thank you to John for the photos and captions)
We set off from Coaley Peak car park with Anne leading us, on a very misty and damp morning.
Fairly steep descent through the woods.
Walking along the edge of Uley Iron Age Fort with magnificent views of .... well mist actually!
Having descended from Uley Fort we walk along Crawley Lane towards Cockadilly - tea break must be near?
Tea break - a handy barn (well planned by Anne on a muddy day) is used to good effect. Good job the Refuse Collector didn't come along at that point!
More magnificent views of mist and a few hungry cattle.
