Leonard Stanley to Coaley Peak - 7 September 2004
Bernard leads a fascinating walk - the weather looks doubtful so few turn up - but it improves and those who have come have a great walk.
We climb up through the woods to Coaley Peak, and then walk through the Nature Reserve.
Lovely wild flowers everywhere.
Views to Cam Long Down, with Stinchcombe Hill in the background.
Looking back to the viewpoint. with views over the Severn Vale to the Forest of Dean.
We descend half way down the escarpment and head back to Leonard Stanley - a really pleasant morning now!
The viewpoint is up above us now.
Super views as we head back.
