Our Leader
for the Day, Peter outlines the mission ahead. |
Climb up
towards Shiptons Grave Lane, so named, apparently, after a local
man who's grave lies somewhere along the lane, who executed for stealing
sheep. |

A muddy
Shiptons Grave Lane taken whilst sliding off the bank into the mud
hence the picture quality! |

Picture
taken whilst falling flat on face due to muddy hole!! |

A rabbits
eye view of the way ahead. |
A very large
mushroom/toadstool found along the way |
Walking
along Ledgemore Bottom with Ledgemore Wood on the right. |
We pause in
Tetbury lane, the old road between Nailsworth and Tetbury. |
Peter leads
us back into Nailsworth after an excellent walk in surprisingly good
weather. |
