Karen avoids
(most of ) the hills for this morning's delightful walk. |
Off we go
threading our way between the hills. Here we see the wooded Downham
Hill, soon to be classified as Access Land and already open under a
permissive arrangement. |
Cam Peak can
jusr be made out in the centre of the skyline. |
Cam Peak
(left) and Long Down are avoided as we descend
to the stream ... |
... where
the most amazing and extensive shoring up operations have recently been
completed. |
Looking dark
now - heavy rain has been forecast! |
A
threatening sky over Long Down and the camera is put away ... |
... for an
hour. Then the sun breaks through as we come round the other side of Cam
Peak. |
John spots
Cam Parish Church in the distance. |
What a
lovely morning - well parts of it - for a great walk. |
Karen checks
that we are still coming. Who says you have to climb all the hills every
time to have a good walk? |
