Alderley and Ozleworth -
December 2003
Joe draws the short straw in weather terms, and the forecast is not good.
Nevertheless five of us turn up for his walk from Alderley. Is he dismayed? What do you think?
Water in the furrows in this view to the Severn from the Cotswold Way.
Looking towards Wotton-under-Edge.
Good to see the National Trust have clearly signed the permitted bridleway, even though Newark Park is closed for the winter. The snowdrops are worth a visit in February.
.The rain sets in and gets on the camera lens - time to escape into the porch of Ozleworth Church for our sandwiches. We meet a couple visiting the church who were married there 32 years ago!
Ozleworth House in the clouds? No, it's that drip again!
The lake has been repaired and is an impressive site...
... as is this upgraded house near Alderley as the sun emerges in the afternoon sky.
We think it looks quite French. Any know what it is called?
