Wotton to North Nibley - November 2003
A historic day - Anne (on the left) leads us on our Group's FIRST EVER Weekday Walk. We are planning to continue these at least twice a month for the time being. Judging by the response today, the future looks bright!
Here Anne leads us up towards the Tyndale Monument.
We had just come through Westridge Woods, where the colours were magnificent.
Deep shadows and bright skies in November as we head for the top.
Down an old steep route towards North Nibley village.
Under the hill towards our drink stop.

So dry in November, can this be England?
The silvery white of the underside of these leaves made an amzing sight, in contrast to the Autumn colours.
Back to the centre of Wotton, where some of us had a very good lunch at the Falcon, now under new management. A dining club with walks you might sometimes think!
