Newington Bagpath Old Church and Ozleworth Bottom - June 2003
The tucked away reduntant church at Newington Bagpath was the starting point for this day walk on a very warm, sultry June day.
Kathy led us down into the Ozleworth valley, or Bottom as they are known in these parts.
How green is my valley!
Margaret and Derek crossing a footbridge in the jungle (or so it appears).
Kathy consulting her 12 Favourite Walks book, our first book published in 1995, to see if there have been any changes in the route on the ground.
Olivia walking on water!
One of the two lakes created in recent years.
Quite a steep climb up out of the valley.
Good views across to Lasborough Manor with its own chapel.
The walk continued in the afternoon after a good lunch at Kingscote, but the photographer made his excuses and left early for a spot of gardening.
