Stormy Weather May 2002

Home Walks photos Archive 2002	WHITESHILL. Olivia was our leader for a 6 mile morning walk when 24 people turned up. Heavy showers were forecast, and one had just occurred as we set off.
	After our coffee/water/banana stop we climbed steeply up from Pitchcombe.
	Lunch was at the Woodcutters Arms and here we are "rebooting".
	Thoroughly enjoying the warm sunshine as we start to climb up towards Standish Woods.
	Then the wind gets up quite violently and people struggle to put on their raingear .
	... and dash for the cover of the nearby woods. Five minutes later the sun comes out and we all dry off again.
	One of the new Cotswold Way wooden signposts, now being erected as it becomes a National Trail.
