A Festival of Winter Walks in 1996 we think. This was when the Woodchester Village valley was first opened up with a footpath. Mike flogging books as usual! Or perhaps he was recruiting! The photo below was probably on the same walk

It snowed in the old days too. This is 31 December 1996 on Selsley Common.

David Drew MP (5th from left) was invited on a group walk around Painswick in the late 1990's. He joined us for part of the walk, then cut back to his bicycle to ride home again. On the far right is Tony Drake, now our Area President. You may also spot one or two other faces you know.
